Our next scheduled Rebuilding Day is set for April 24,
2010. To be considered for the the 2010 Rebuilding Day, applications need
to be received on or before February 1, 2010. Homeowner Registration at the Community Center on the corner of Root and College. Rebuilding Together has an office open for applications to potential home rehab candidates.
Applicants should bring their documents to Suite 421 of the Community Center where a Rebuilding Together representative will help complete the application process.
Documents to Bring: home title/warranty/deed; proof of homeowner insurance; and verification of all forms of income.
Homeowner candidates must meet the following guidelines
to be considered:
--> Live in zip codes 60503,
60504, 60505 or 60506
--> Own the home and reside in it.
--> Have home owner insurance.
--> Meet Chicago HUD income requirements defining
low income based upon the number of people
living in the house. If the only source of
income is Social Security
or other form of public assistance,
the qualification is met.
